about

the case

While shopping at The Home Depot, several pre-fabricated wood fencing panels fell over hitting and knocking Plaintiff to the ground. Plaintiff asserted that The Home Depot, Inc., and its employees, were negligent in the storage, display, and handling of the pre-fabricated wood fencing panels and for failing to warn him about the danger posed by the pre-fabricated wood fencing panels. Plaintiff asserted that as a result of the incident, he sustained significant injuries to his left knee which required an anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction and medial meniscal repair operation, and would require a total knee replacement surgery in the future. Defendant, The Home Depot, Inc. disputed the nature and extent of the damages claimed by Plaintiff.
