about
the case
Plaintiff was driving straight through an intersection at the same time Defendant made a left-turn into the intersection. Plaintiff's vehicle and Defendant's vehicle collided in the intersection. Plaintiff asserted that she entered the intersection on a green light and Defendant was negligent in making a left-turn and failing to yield to Plaintiff’s right-of-way. Plaintiff claimed that the crash caused her injuries to her lumbar spine, for which she has had to undergo two (2) surgical operations. Defendant denied that she was negligent and claimed that Plaintiff ran a red light. Additionally, Defendant disputed causation, the nature and extent of Plaintiff’s claimed injuries, and the reasonableness and necessity of Plaintiff’s medical treatment.
